About Craig
Retired after 30+ years as a physical education teacher, hockey & baseball coach in the Brookline Public Schools, Craig now turns his passion for teaching & coaching to Pickleball.
A PPR Certified Pro, Engage Pickleball Sponsored Player and USA Pickleball Ambassador. Craig has competed & won medals both in Men's Doubles and with his wife, Gail, in Mixed Doubles. His most recent Gold medal came at the Massachusetts Senior Games which qualified him for the National Senior Games.
Craig has been instrumental in "Growing The Game" in the Metro Boston area. He has worked closely with both the Boston & Brookline Recreation Departments as well as the Greater Boston YMCAs to increase the number of courts and programming. Craig launched the first USA Pickleball Junior program of its kind in Metro Boston and developed the award winning Senior Play program in Brookline. This past year, he offered FREE clinics to Beginners, introduced Brookline's first ever Ladder League, Women's League and hosted the Spring FLEX, FunFest, SeniorFest & Fall Brawl Tournaments. Additionally, Craig spearheaded Dink4Pink Month to help raise awareness/funds in the fight against breast cancer and introduced the Ambassador's Cup Series; town vs. town competitive matches. USA Pickleball recently recognized Craig as its Ambassador of the Month.
